Taking a cue from the success of the National Socialist Movement's drive to recruit concert-goers attending shows by the popular metal band Pantera (see Midwest Action Report, April), the National Alliance has encouraged members to distribute leaflets for Resistance Records at this summer's Pantera tour. A special flyer offering deals on Resistance CD's asks, "Remember when Heavy Metal was for WHITES ONLY? We do." In 1994, Pantera got the attention of white supremacists when the lead singer wore a T-shirt with the logo of the neo-Nazi Afrikaner Resistance Movement onstage during a concert.

The remaining tour dates for Pantera's summer tour are: June 20, New Haven, Connecticut; June 21 Uniondale, New York; June 22, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; June 23, Worcester, Massachusetts; June 27, Huntington, West Virginia; June 29, Grand Rapids, Michigan; June 30, Detroit, Michigan; July 1, Cleveland, Ohio; July 3, Chicago, Illinois; July 5, St. Paul, Minnesota; July 6, Fargo, North Dakota; July 8, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; July 9, Kansas City, Missouri; July 14, Dallas, Texas; July 17, Phoenix, Arizona; July 19, Long Beach, California; July 21, San Diego, California; July 22, Bakersfield, California; July 23, San Jose, California; July 25, Tacoma, Washington (May 2001).
