Hendrik Möbus, the neo-Nazi musician who fled to the US to avoid imprisonment, is one step closer to returning to Germany. On March 5, 2001 Immigration Court Judge John Reid denied Möbus' request, identifying him as an "aggravated felon" and thereby ineligible for asylum under US law. Möbus has appealed the decision and has not yet been deported.

To protest the Möbus decision and the German government's banning of the NPD, the National Alliance and the American Friends of the British National Party will conduct a rally outside the German Embassy in Washington D.C. on April 2 at 11am. Following the rally, a private meeting will be held with speakers from the NPD, the BNP, and the National Alliance.
